How your reservation works
$5 today. Access to $990 at launch.
A $5 USD reservation gives you access to Dirt Republic’s $990 launch offer. The regular Kickstarter price is $1,499 and the planned retail price is $2,199. We’ll send the offer link to the email address you used at checkout when the campaign opens.
What your $5 covers
This is a separate, one-time reservation fee, not a go-kart purchase. It does not include hardware or count as a Kickstarter pledge. Nothing ships with this payment. There is no subscription, automatic $990 charge or obligation to back the project.
The $5 fee is not deducted from the $990 pledge. Buying the kart requires a separate decision on Kickstarter. Shipping and applicable taxes are additional and will be shown with the campaign.
Your launch-day access
Planned launch: December 1, 2026, at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (New York).
The $990 offer is available to reservers for the first 24 hours after the actual campaign launch.
There’s no kart-finish decision to make today. Orange / Black, Patriot and Camo share the same reserved price. Use your launch email to review the campaign and decide whether to pledge. After the reserved-price window closes, the regular Kickstarter offer applies.
Refunding your reservation
You can request the $5 reservation fee back through our contact page or by emailing support@dirtrepublic.com. Include your order number and checkout email, not your card details. Refunds must be requested; they are not issued automatically.
This also applies if the campaign is delayed or cancelled. See Reservation refunds for the request process. A later Kickstarter pledge is separate from this Shopify payment.
Before you back the project
The launch date is planned and depends on project readiness and Kickstarter approval. Review the campaign’s specifications, included equipment, shipping, taxes and delivery estimates before committing. Some product and lifestyle imagery is AI-assisted visualization rather than photography of production units.
